Executive Leadership Experience in PACE
Rooted in This Work
My connection to senior care started early. My mother was a certified nursing assistant, and throughout my childhood I often tagged along when she stopped by the nursing home — sometimes just to drop off something she had cooked, or to check in with residents even when she was not on the clock. Those experiences shaped how I see leadership: as an act of service rooted in respect for people.
Founded by a PACE Operator
Archwell was founded by Mia Dempsey-Stahl, MA, LNHA — a former PACE Executive Director with experience leading multi-site operations, guiding programs through expansion and transition, and maintaining full accountability for CMS and state survey readiness, IDT governance, utilization management, corrective action stabilization, and board reporting.

Leadership Philosophy
Strong operations are built on clarity, accountability, and calm decision-making. In PACE, small inconsistencies can quickly become regulatory or financial risk. My role is to bring focus, structure, and disciplined follow-through without unnecessary disruption.
Teams perform best when expectations are clear, communication is direct, and leadership is steady.
Whether you are navigating leadership transition, preparing for survey, or stabilizing performance, we can identify where focused support will have the greatest impact.
